What is Rotational molding?
Rotational molding is a hollow forming method of thermoplastic.
Rotomolding is a method of hollow molding thermoplastics. Materials can be PE, PP, PVC, nylon, XLPE...etc. The mold is first fed, then heated and rotated, the material is coated on the inner wall of the mold by centrifugal force, and finally cooled and demoulded. No additional pressure is required during the rotational molding process.
Additional processes such as filling with PU foam or epoxy resin can be added. The rotational molding process offers a solution for producing stress-free parts with uniform wall thickness and complex shapes at relatively low production costs.
The Rotational molding could be used for many field, such as lighting, vases, furniture, children slide& toys, Medical, sports, agriculture, cleaning, containers, transportation, urban design, etc.
