Tao Lang joined the coalition to end plastic waste to advocate the circular economy of plastics
The Taurang Group has announced that it is joining the alliance to end plastic waste, an international organization dedicated to working with its members to eliminate plastic waste pollution and improve resource efficiency.
The coalition to end plastic waste was founded in January 2019 as a global nonprofit organization, there are now 30 companies from all parts of the plastics value chain, including global consumer goods giants such as Procter & Gamble, Pepsico and Henkel, that produce, use, sell, process, recycle and recycle, leading plastics producers such as Dow, exxonmobil and Lyondell Basell, as well as Global Environmental Management Companies Suez and Veolia.
Members of the group have pledged US $1.5 billion (10.3 billion yuan) to clean up plastic waste. It also conducts research in areas such as the environment and economic development, in close collaboration with the financial sector, government and non-governmental organization.
Members of the coalition to end plastic waste have pledged to spend $1.5 billion over the next five years to develop solutions to reduce plastic pollution to a much lower level, and promote the recycling of waste plastics. The alliance's key areas of focus include infrastructure, technology innovation, education, social promotion, and the clean-up of plastic waste related to the circular economy of plastics.
Taylor added that Tauron has developed a variety of innovative technologies for the separation and recycling of waste plastics and has taken several practical steps to promote a plastics circular economy. In addition, Tao Lang in the promotion of consumer behavior change has also brought a positive impact. At the same time, Tao Lang made it possible for plastics to be recycled at the same level, enabling many consumer brands to replace raw materials with high-quality recycled plastics, reducing both the demand for petroleum raw materials and significantly reducing plastic packaging waste.
